Synopsis:

"Troy" (2004) is an epic historical drama that brings to life the legendary tale of the Trojan War, inspired by Homer's "Iliad." The film follows the story of Achilles, portrayed by Brad Pitt, a fierce and nearly invincible Greek warrior whose pride and rage drive him into conflict. When Paris, a prince of Troy, abducts Helen, the beautiful wife of King Menelaus of Sparta, a massive Greek army is assembled to retrieve her.

As the Greeks, led by Agamemnon, lay siege to the city of Troy, alliances are tested, and the lines between heroism and betrayal blur. The narrative delves into the complexities of love, honor, and the consequences of war, showcasing the personal struggles of its characters, including Hector, the noble Trojan prince, and his tragic fate. With grand battle sequences and a rich tapestry of mythological elements, "Troy" explores the timeless themes of glory and sacrifice, ultimately revealing the devastating impact of war on both victors and the vanquished.
