Synopsis:

"Scrooged" is a modern retelling of Charles Dickens' classic tale, "A Christmas Carol." The film follows Frank Cross, a cynical and self-absorbed television executive played by Bill Murray, who prioritizes ratings and profits over the spirit of the holiday season. As Christmas approaches, Frank's ruthless behavior alienates his colleagues and loved ones.

On Christmas Eve, he is visited by the ghost of his former boss, who warns him of the consequences of his actions. This encounter sets off a series of supernatural visits from three spirits—representing his past, present, and future—each revealing the impact of his choices on himself and those around him. Through these haunting experiences, Frank is forced to confront his past mistakes and ultimately learns the importance of compassion, generosity, and the true meaning of Christmas. The film blends humor with heartfelt moments, making it a holiday favorite that resonates with audiences of all ages.
