Synopsis:

"Quigley Down Under" (1990) is a Western film that follows the story of Matthew Quigley, an American sharpshooter played by Tom Selleck, who travels to Australia in the late 19th century. Quigley is lured by a lucrative job offer from a wealthy landowner, who seeks a skilled marksman to help him deal with the local Aboriginal population. Upon arrival, Quigley quickly discovers that the job is not what he expected, as he refuses to participate in the landowner's brutal plans against the indigenous people.

As tensions rise, Quigley finds himself at odds with the landowner and his henchmen, leading to a series of confrontations that test his skills and moral compass. With the help of a resourceful Aboriginal woman named Crazy Cora, Quigley embarks on a journey of survival and redemption. The film combines action, adventure, and a poignant commentary on colonialism, showcasing Quigley's transformation from a hired gun to a reluctant hero fighting for justice in a harsh and unforgiving landscape.
