Synopsis:

"Around the World in 80 Days" (2004) is a vibrant adventure-comedy that follows the eccentric and imaginative Phileas Fogg, portrayed by Steve Coogan. Fogg, a British inventor and gentleman, makes a daring wager with his fellow members of the Royal Geographical Society, claiming he can circumnavigate the globe in just 80 days. Accompanied by his loyal but clumsy servant, Passepartout, played by Jackie Chan, the duo embarks on a whirlwind journey filled with unexpected challenges and colorful characters.

As they traverse diverse landscapes—from the bustling streets of Paris to the exotic markets of India—Fogg and Passepartout encounter a host of obstacles, including a relentless detective, played by Jim Broadbent, who is determined to thwart their progress. Along the way, they also meet a spirited woman named Monique, portrayed by Catherine Zeta-Jones, who adds a romantic twist to their escapade. The film combines humor, action, and heartwarming moments, ultimately celebrating the spirit of adventure and the importance of friendship.
