Cinapse is a production scheduling tool, and Saturation imports its schedules directly: import a schedule and its elements become budget lines. The breakdown work already done in Cinapse becomes a head start on the budget instead of something to enter twice.
What imports
- Budget lines: schedule elements land under mapped accounts in your budget.
- Contacts: people attached to the schedule come across into your workspace.
How the import works
- In Cinapse, open Reports Manager and export the Budget Export (CSV). The .cinapse project file works too.
- Drop the file on a project’s budget page in Saturation.
- Review the import: map each category to an account (or create one), then commit.
Accepted file types: .csv (the Cinapse Budget Export) and .cinapse project files.
