Synopsis:

"The Men Who Stare at Goats" is a satirical comedy that follows the journey of a reporter named Bob Wilton, played by Ewan McGregor, who is on a quest to uncover the truth behind a secret military unit. Set against the backdrop of the Iraq War, Bob stumbles upon a former member of this unit, Lyn Cassady, portrayed by George Clooney. Lyn reveals the bizarre and often absurd practices of the U.S. Army's New Earth Army, which aimed to harness paranormal abilities for military purposes. As Bob and Lyn embark on a series of misadventures, they encounter a colorful cast of characters and delve into the strange world of psychic warfare. The film cleverly blends humor with commentary on the absurdities of war and the lengths to which the military will go in pursuit of unconventional tactics.
